17 May 2010: "Labour minister Liam Byrne left note on desk: There's no money left." - The Times
I'm afraid to say
there is no money.
It's not a matter
of life and death
or right and left
or right and wrong.
Just been and gone.
On the frontline
or in a duck pond
or in a black hole,
wherever it is
that money is gone.
We had a party
but now it's over
and out
of office.
The money is gone.
There's no point in going
on and on.
The money is gone.
It's not coming back
and nor are we.
Kind regards
and see you anon.
